A Lotus Garnet is a type of garnet that is found in Tanzania and Africa. This gemstone is a hybrid of two other garnet varieties, giving it a unique blend of orange, pink, and red hues that give it a lotus-like appearance, hence its name. I fell in love with this garnet at the Tucson Gem Show.
